- Elaboration of structural designs of steel structures with the CAS drawing package. Heerema uses Tekla Structures for his more complex projects;
- All occurring drawing work, including the elaboration of details;
- Support in design;
- Advising on technical solutions/alternatives;
- Internal consultation with the project teams;
- Contacts and consultation with engineering and production.

CAD Draughtsman
As a draughtsman you draw constructions of various kinds with a CAD system (Tekla, Microstation, AutoCAD) in consultation with the Fabrication Engineering Manager, the project team and the production department. Based on design drawings and a construction sequence, you make a 3D model and production drawings for you own production departments. Taking into account the specifications and working according to the planning and procedures.
Responsibilities
Education and Experience
- MBO/HBO working and thinking level, supplemented with specific (technical) training and education;
- Experience with drawing in Tekla is an advantage;
- Experience with Microstation and/or AutoCAD;
- Good experience with Excel;
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of constructions and materials;
- Good communication skills, both Dutch and English;
- Spatial insight and solution orientation.
