- Business Planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analyses to evaluate and plan the company's performance, investment calculations, project support for tenders and post-investment analysis;
- Control CAPEX, OPEX, projects, and cash flow of our yards in Vlissingen and Opole;
- Ensure timely delivery of all internal and external financial reporting - in line with IFRS and or Dutch GAAP - focusing on providing insightful information to aid decision-making;
- Acting as a (strategic) partner for management, stakeholders and other departments within the company, on financial issues and projects using financial insights to support business decisions;
- Evaluating the company's operational performance using financial and non-financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and advising management on potential improvements;
- Providing recommendations to improve financial performance and cost control;
- Performing financial analysis to identify trends, exploit opportunities and assess risk that may impact the company's performance and success;
- Preparing business cases for investment decisions.

Business Controller
As a Business Controller, you play a crucial role in supporting management in financial decision-making and planning. You will work closely with your Finance colleague and the various departments within Heerema Fabrication Group. At the same time, you will also work with your Finance, Tax and Treasury colleagues within Heerema Group Support in Leiden to ensure that our business control and business planning are in line with our group standards. You report to the Yard Director of Heerema Fabrication Group in Vlissingen.

Education and Experience
This position requires a highly motivated, enthusiastic ‘hands on’ person that thrives in a dynamic team. A person who can contribute to solutions for our current and future challenges. Furthermore, you have:
- A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Finance & Control, Post Bachelor (Business) Controlling;
- 0 to 3 years of experience in the field of Finance or planning & control;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken;
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset, take ownership and are result oriented;
