Offshore training

By joining Heerema, there is a big chance you will get to visit one of our vessels offshore. But before you get to visit one of our enormous floating islands, you will need to undergo training!

While the Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) may be the most familiar aspect of the BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training), it is only a part of the comprehensive training program essential for those working offshore.

Over the course of three days, you will undergo training in general safety, escaping from different types of locations, sea survival, and firefighting. This training prepares you for various emergencies that you might encounter while working in the high-risk offshore environment, where safety is our top priority.
