During the early development phase of an offshore floating wind farm, our client required an in-depth analysis of floater feasibility based on transport and installation limitations.

Actions

We performed several marine assessments to understand the limitations using Orcaflex and WAMIT. This action included assessing the motions and accelerations of the floater.

Benefits

Our client was provided with critical parameters, such as the required bollard pull for tug vessels, installation and transit weather limitations, and the mooring setup. This information will play a critical role in the further development of this project.
