In order to assess the structural integrity of a ring-shaped sensor-spread foundation, HES performed dynamic analyses for the tow and lowering operations. As the drag and stiffness imposed by the sensor-grid was a key contributor to the dynamic behavior of the ring, an accurate model of the sensor-grid was generated using Python and Orcaflex.
