For one of our clients HES performed the analysis of the shore pull, normal lay and end-termination laydown with one of their vessels. Using automated optimization in Python, we ensured that the bending radius and stress in the cable stayed below the specified limits, while making sure that the vessel operated within its capacity.

HES is specialized in analyzing highly complex deep-water pipelay projects, as well as umbilical and inter-array cable installation. Using the dynamic analysis software package Orcaflex we quickly provide insight and answers for our clients.
