Heerema Marine Contractors is proud to announce that the Company has achieved a next and crucial step in its journey to progress the QUAD lift from an ambitious idea to an industry wide accepted technology. The QUAD Lift Development received its Technology Qualification Certificate from DNVGL. By issuing this certificate DNVGL, as representative of the industry, recognizes that Heerema is able to accurately prepare and safely execute a QUAD Lift (Technology Readiness Level 6 on a scale of 7).
The successful performance of the QUAD lift test using Balder and Thialf in October last year in the Gulf of Mexico not only showed the world for the first time that we are capable to deliver a safe QUAD Lift operation, it also enabled us to achieve this important milestone.
The QUAD lifting installation services enables Clients to integrally install and/or remove large and heavy integrated topsides or jackets.
